Review and Time
Not all children learn at the same rate. Some children will only require one exposure to new learning to retain it and be able to apply it. However, for many students, particularly those who have learning difficulties or learning disorders, they may require multiple exposures to a concept before they can retain and apply it. An essential feature of all lessons at Quick Brown Fox Learning is review and new- the revision of prior learning in every lesson, before introducing new concepts

Focus on Early Intervention
Early intervention is key when supporting children with delays in language, communication and reading. Quick Brown Fox works with children from the age of 4 onwards, delivering evidence- based intervention. A 'wait and see' approach is not recommended. If you have concerns about your child's communication and reading skills, you should seek assessment and support as soon as possible.
Experienced Teachers
Lessons at Quick brown Fox Learning do not take a 'one size fits all' approach and are not pre programmed and set like many online tutoring services. At Quick Brown Fox Learning, the lessons are carefully planned to meet the identified needs of the students, however the experienced teachers will determine how slowly or as quickly they move through the learning sequence. Experienced teachers provide explicit feedback and pace the lessons to allow for more explicit teaching and independent practice, or extension and application, based on the students' needs.

Building Strong Foundations
Literacy and Numeracy skills are attained by sequentially introducing new skills, one at a time, onto strong foundations. Many students have 'learning gaps', because they have not had enough time or enough practice to consolidate skills before moving onto new learning. Over time, this leads to frustration, loss of confidence and poor achievement. Quick Brown Fox Learning identifies 'learning gaps' and develops skills, brick by brick, to build stronger foundations, confidence and success.
